This edition is a follow up to insight@ipt Vol 1 Issue 2, July 1999, in which we examined who the newly appointed Provincial Ministers of Education and Safety and Security were in KwaZulu-Natal. In that issue we attempted to outline the commitments made by these ministers in order to ensure that they kept their promises. In this issue we look at what they have achieved during their first year in office.
